Does Prime Minister Gillani have any power at all?

It was said that former PM Shoukat Aziz was a showpiece prime minister only and the real powers were in the hands of President Pervez Musharraf. We are seeing a repetition of the same situation in the new government as well. It seems that PM Gillani is prime minister in name only. The real powers of the prime minister are being enjoyed by Asif Ali Zardari.

Important political and administrative decisions are being taken in the Zardari house. The prime minister only follows the instructions passed on to him by Zardari House. We can say that only names and faces have changed.

Five years of war in Iraq

The world has paid a very heavy price for the wrong US decision of mounting attack on Iraq. To punish one man, even if he was not a good ruler, and a handful of his supporters1 million innocent people have been killed and more than 40 thousand have been rendered homeless. It has been proved beyond doubt that allegation of producing WMD was groundless .It was all a game for capturing of oil fields of Iraq. It had no connection of whatsoever with war on terror. The attack on Iraq was an act of terror in itself. Blood is thicker than water or not but Americans have proved that, blood is cheaper than oil.
