EU sanctions against Iran

European Union States have agreed to impose new sanctions against Iran. The sanctions include:

i. the individuals will be banned entering the EU
ii. the entities will be banned from operating in the EU

The sanction will fall heavy on Iran.

Time and again Iranian leaders have explained that Iran’s nuclear enrichment work is for peaceful purposes. In such a situation, sanctions don’t seem to be justified. European Union should try to resolve this issue through diplomacy and peaceful negotiations.
